City-wide clean up Friday and Saturday

The City of Webster City will be holding the no-fee clean up days for residents of Webster City from noon to 4 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Webster City Middle School parking lot.

American Legion Post 191 flag disposal service is today

The American Legion Post 191 will conduct a ceremonial retirement of unserviceable U.S. flags at 4 p.m. today. Flags may be brought to the the ceremony site at the north alley of the 700 block of Second Street, adjacent to Pagel Glass, by 3:30 p.m. today.

Lehigh Methodist to hold Second Sunday Supper

The Lehigh Methodist Church will serve its Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. The menu includes pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw, dessert and a drink, for a freewill donation.

Downtown Webster City will come alive from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today as Webster City Market Nights returns with a community favorite — Classic Car Night. American Legion Post 191 will conduct flag disposal service on Friday

The American Legion Post 191 will conduct a ceremonial retirement of unserviceable U.S. flags at 4 p.m. Friday. Flags may be brought to the American Legion at 726 Second St., Webster City, today, or to the ceremony site by 3:30 p.m. on Friday. This event is held annually as part of the observance for Flag Day. This dignified event will take place in the north alley of the 700 block of Second Street, adjacent to Pagel Glass.
