Hamilton County Hotel Motel grant deadline is March 5

The grant program that is funded through the Hamilton County hotel motel tax is open for applications. This grant is available to support projects in Blairsburg, Jewell, Kamrar, Stanhope, Stratford, Randall, Ellsworth and Williams. Residents and businesses in Webster City are not eligible for this grant. This grant opened for application on Feb. 2, and can be applied through the Hamilton County website at https://www.hamiltoncounty.iowa.gov/departments/hotel_mote_tax_grant.php. The grant deadline is March 5.

DSAOC online auction announced, donations accepted

The Domestic Sexual Assault Outreach Center—DSAOC cake auction opens at 10 a.m. on March 26, and ends at 7 p.m. on March 30. The auction, which began as an in-person fundraiser for DSAOC, has been online since covid in 2020. Night of Jazz tonight at Webster City Middle School

A Night of Jazz is to be held at Webster City Middle School tonight. Both the high school and middle school jazz musicians will be performing at the Webster City Middle School at 6 p.m. This event will be featuring not only the middle school jazz band and middle school vocal jazz small ensembles, it will also include the high school jazz ensemble and high school jazz band. Hamilton County Cattlemen to hold annual banquet

The annual banquet for the Hamilton County Cattlemen Association will be on March 9. The banquet will be held at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, located at 1200 Bluff St. in Webster City. The banquet begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social, and dinner will follow at 6 p.m. An auction will be held when the dinner is completed. Grief support group begins next week

Restore Us Care Ministry is offering a nondenominational grief support group for individuals navigating loss, including death of a loved one, divorce, job loss, and other significant life transitions. The group provides a compassionate, welcoming space for connection, reflection, and healing. The ministry’s mission is to walk alongside the brokenhearted, recognizing that grief shared becomes grief lightened. Second Sunday Supper this weekend in Lehigh

The Lehigh Methodist Church will have its Second Sunday Supper from 5 - 7 p.m. on Sunday. This month the meal will be a variety of soups. At least half a dozen soups will be available to share. Desserts and drinks will also be available. The cost is a freewill donation.
