Evelyn “Evie” Marie Roden is celebrating her 90th birthday today.

She has two children, Sharon (Jon)?Grossardt, Winona, Minnesotam and Mark (Bridget)?Roden of Webster City, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was born April 12, 1926 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She moved to Webster City in 1066 when her husband, the late Rev. Raymond Roden, accepted a position at Trinity Lutheran Church. She is active in the church and enjoys having coffee with friends at Hy-Vee during the week and Mornin’ Glory on Saturdays.
