Parking stalls restriped early today

The downtown area on 2nd St. from Superior St to Prospect St will be closed tomorrow, July 15 from 5 to 9 a.m. to allow our Street Department staff to stripe parking stalls

Please use alternate routes and plan accordingly during this time. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this project.

Wilsons Brewer Park and Foundation board meets today

The Wilson Brewer Park and Foundation board meets today at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Sampson room of Fuller Hall.

Fuller Hall is located at 625 Bank St. in Webster City.

On the agenda are updates on the projects, the consideration of donations, and two board positions which have expired.

High School Facilities public meeting tonight at 6 p.m.

The first of four public meetings will be held tonight at the Prem Sahai auditorium at the Webster City High School. This meeting will allow the public to listen to ideas, see drawings of potential changes in the high school and make suggestions, recommendations or other comments.

Future meetings will be held on July 28, August 12 and August 25.

Hamilton County Fair setup begins this weekend.

The first preparation work for the Hamilton County fair begins on Sunday, with the 4-H and FFA booth setup from 3 to 5 p.m. This is the time period when the clubs prepare their booths for exhibits in the Van Diest Building.

The Clover Kids pet and exhibit show also is being held on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the Show Arena.
