The fifth annual Coins for Cats Fundraiser, now renamed Cash for Cats, benefiting Hamilton County Animal Advocates and The Cat Hut is going on now through August 14th. Collect spare cash and save lives!

Stop by the Cat Hut at 1118 2nd Street in Webster City to pick up a cool blue coin collection cup. Fill your cup with loose change and cash and bring it to Webster City Financial Bank on Friday, August 14th between 2-3 p.m. to run through the coin counter and have your cash counted. You can also drop it off at The Cat Hut prior to August 14 and we’ll run your coins through the counter and count your cash for you! Donation boxes can also be found at many local retailers. Donations to these boxes are not included in the raffle contest. With more than 70 cats and kittens in our care, your generosity is greatly needed and appreciated.

This year, we are holding a raffle for participants that help us fundraise with their cups. For every $5 raised, participants will receive 1 raffle ticket. One raffle prize will be awarded and includes 4 $50 gift certificates to the following businesses: Mornin’ Glory Coffee, Country Twist Boutique, Empower Nutrition and Back 40 Co. The winner will be drawn during the Wrap-Up party at Webster City Financial Bank, 401 Fair Meadow Drive, Webster City, at 3 p.m. after we have counted all funds raised.
