HAMPTON — The Webster City boys tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Hampton-Dumont/CAL this week. Nathan Wadell and Zayden Card picked up wins in singles competition for the Lynx. Wardell, a junior, downed Jaxson Rew at the No. 2 spot, 10-8, while Card, a sophomore, won at No. 6 singles by the same score. The Webster City girls tennis team put on a performance here Tuesday evening, sweeping Hampton-Dumont/CAL in North Central Conference action, 9-0. Allie Severe, Olivia Gallentine, Morgan Hackbarth, Alivia Burns, Cyra Christensen and Gabbie Sebert were all singles winners for the Lynx (5-4 overall, 3-1 in league).
