WEBSTER CITY — Only three strokes separated three teams in a North Central Conference girls triangular on Friday. Hampton-Dumont-CAL came away with the victory, shooting a 254. Clarion-Goldfield-Dows (255) was next, followed by Webster City. Clarion-Goldfield-Dows’ Blair Askelson shot a 53 to earn meet medalist honors. Hampton-Dumont-CAL’s Kinze Moorehead was the meet runner up with a 54. Low score for the Lynx came from Kenley Koop (59). WEBSTER CITY — The seventh-ranked Webster City boys soccer team cruised to a 9-0 victory over Charles City on Thursday. The Lynx (7-0 overall), who scored nine goals for the second straight match, took a 7-0 lead into halftime and never looked back. BELMOND — The South Hamilton girls track and field team claimed overall top honors here last Friday night at the Bronco Relays hosted by Belmond-Klemme.
