JEWELL — The South Hamilton girls golf team placed third here last Thursday behind Roland-Story and West Marshall in action. The Hawks finished with a team score of 251, as Roland-Story fired a 173 and West Marshall carded a 192. Arynn Luppes led the way for South Hamilton with a 58 while Sophie Nibe had a 63 and Grace Larson a 64. Both Ava Corbin and Sydney Gelder shot rounds of 66. The Hawks compete on Monday in a quadrangular with Panorama, Woodward-Granger and Bondurant-Farrar at Terrace Hills Golf Course in Altoona.

EAGLE GROVE — Luke Martensen had the low round as the South Hamilton boys golf team claimed a triangular here Tuesday over host Eagle Grove and Clarion-Goldfield/Dows. Martensen, a junior, carded a 45 as the Hawks finished with a 180. Eagle Grove was second with a 190 and Clarion-Goldfield/Dows fired a 192. ALGONA — The Webster City girls track and field team took part in the Hannover Relays hosted by Algona here Tuesday night. The Bulldogs captured team gold followed by Clear Lake and Lake Mills.
