Lynx girls 4th at IF-A

IOWA FALLS — The Webster City girls track and field team took advantage of ideal conditions here Monday night. The Lynx placed fourth overall behind Grundy Center, Humboldt and host Iowa Falls-Alden at the Cadet Relays. Both the sprint medley and distance medley relays took home second place finishes, as Kali Hartnett, Cloe Savitski and Isabel Grossoehme ran on each quartet. STORY CITY — The South Hamilton boys finished seventh here last Thursday night at the Roland-Story Relays. Clear Lake was first followed by Denver, Nevada, the host Norsemen and Ballard rounding out the Top-5. The Hawks scored 53 points total to finish ahead of five schools in the 12-team field. GARNER — The Webster City girls soccer team made it two in a row here last Thursday, picking up a 2-0 victory over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura. BOONE — The Webster City boys track team finished second at the Boone Invitational, winning four events.
