Hawk wrestlers on mat at Perry

PERRY — The South Hamilton wrestling team was at the Perry Invitational on Saturday. Parker Stuck (12-11) picked up a victory at 190 pounds. Stuck beat Christian Schild of Eagle Grove by fall in 2:27. Gaige Willis (12-7) also had a win at 215 pounds. Willis pinned Jose Tello-Price of Saydel in 1:19. Brody Harris (14-9) had a consolation win over Jack Zeleny of Sergeant Bluff-Luton by fall in 1:54.

Webster City wrestling squad continues with busy slate

PERRY — Webster City’s Eli Estlund earned a runner-up showing at the Perry Invitational on Saturday. Estlund (14-10) reached the championship round at 190 pounds. He had pins in 1:02 and 1:37 for his first two matches. Estlund then earned a 12-2 major decision over Jay Georgen of West Delaware in the semifinals. He lost a 4-1 decision to Kieran Polking of Carroll in the championship match. Dawson Bertran (6-4) was fourth at 138.
