JEWELL — An early deficit made it tough for the South Hamilton boys here on Tuesday, as they fell to Saydel, 83-30.
The unbeaten Eagles raced out to an 18-4 lead and never looked back, going up 40-9 at the break.
Benjamin Swenson scored 11 to lead the Hawks, as both Kaden Dean and Kash Northrop scored five. King Brown had four, with Ryan Oskvig, Jose Babcock and Luke Martensen each adding two.
“We are having a hard time getting the ball to fall,” South Hamilton head coach Jay Heeren said. “We will continue to work hard. I will continue to teach and adjust based on what I see.
“We have to keep getting comfortable so our movements become natural and instinctive.”
Jacob Oltmanns scored 28 to lead Saydel, as Gage Moreno added 16.
The Hawks host St. Edmond on Thursday and travel to Grand View Christian on Friday.
