Algona boys too much for Webster City in NCC clash
ALGONA — The Webster City boys basketball team ran into a buzzsaw on Friday night.
Algona (3-1 overall) used a 28-point performance from Jacob Burns to post a 75-48 victory over the Lynx (1-2).
For Webster City, Jaxon Griffith led the way with 14 points. Zack Lahr added 10 points.
Algona’s Levi Walker (11) and Nathan Manske (10), Jaxon Eischen (11) and Landon Campbell (10) also scored in double figures.
Coyce Bertran was near double digits with eight points for the Lynx. Alex Staley added six points.
Grant Arends (4), William Ruby (4) and Jayden Lacey (2) also scored for Webster City.
