McKinney offering offseason basketball workouts
Taylor McKinney will once again be offering offseason basketball workouts this summer. Boys and girls entering seventh and eighth grade in 2025-26 can sign up for the six-week camp now.
Cost is $90 per athlete for all 12 sessions or $10 per session with a t-shirt included.
The offensive skills workouts will begin June 17 and be held in the Webster City High School Competition Gym from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. each Tuesday and Thursday.
Session will focus on developing key offensive skills such as ball handling, shooting, finishing at the rim, footwork, and creating scoring opportunities. Players will participate in high-intensity drills, game-like scenarios, and skill-building exercises to enhance their confidence and effectiveness on the court.
“Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills for the upcoming season or simply improve your offensive game,” McKinney said, “these workouts are the perfect opportunity to grow and compete in a challenging yet encouraging environment.
“The goal is to build strong fundamentals, improve offensive IQ and develop the skills necessary to become a dynamic and confident scorer.”
McKinney, a former Webster City standout, is currently an assistant girls basketball coach for the Lynx.
