Hawks tripped up late
The South Hamilton baseball team dropped a 5-3 decision last Thursday night to Grand View Christian.
The Thunder plated two runs in the bottom of the fifth after the Hawks had tied it at 3-all in the top half.
Owen Duns and Ryland Ubben each had two hits. Ubben recorded a pair of doubles and drove in a run.
Landon Sogard and Braden Young each added an RBI, with Young and Ubben both striking out three batters.
South Hamilton (5-9 overall) heads to West Marshall on Monday. First varsity pitch is set for 7:30 p.m.
