Dear Editor: Greetings! First I wish to commend the Freeman Journal and its staff for receiving so many journalism awards. Well deserved. Second, I wish to thank the editor or staff person for including my receiving the DAR Award in the teaching of American History at Webster City Middle School 25 years ago. Letter to the editor, The people of Webster City may not know there is a golden road that leads to 604 Prospect Street, the home of Webster City Congregate meal site. Congregate meals is very close to my heart. My mother, Violet and my husband, Marlin, went to Congregate meals until they passed away. They not only got delicious meals, but they also enjoy the camaraderie. My husband, Marlin, volunteered at Congregate Meals for 23 years. To the editor, Twas the night before Christmas when all through the White House there arose such a clatter. Twas being torn down, but to Trump it didn’t matter.
