Corinne Fox

IOWA FALLS — Corinne Lavonne Fox, 92, of Iowa Falls, IA, passed peacefully Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Corinne was born October 9, 1930, in Fort Dodge to James and Genevieve Alexander.

Corinne was one of 5 children. Her siblings sister, Carol (Henry) LaMotte, brother, James (Jolene) Alexander, brother, David Alexander, and sister, Cynthia (Jim) Dunlap.

Corinne graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1948. She went on to attend Fort Dodge Junior College where she was then employed as a secretary at Fort Dodge High School.

Corinne married Roger William Fox at the First Congregational Church in Fort Dodge on April 4, 1954. They had two sons, Steven Fox (Kathy) and Kevin Fox (Beth). Corinne had several grandchildren: Daniel (Sarah) Fox, Kate (Adam) Mattingly, Jillian (Jason) Ferguson, Kelsy (Richard) Rubio, Mary (Mark) Handsacker, and Julie (Brad) Samson. She had several great-grandchildren. And several nieces and nephews.

Corinne was a stay at home mother to her two children Steve and Kevin.

They were avid members of the United Church of Christ in Blairsburg and Iowa Falls and St. Johns United Methodist Church in Radcliffe. They were Sunday school teachers and Bible study teachers.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roger; son, Steven; and daughter-in-law Kathy. Her parents, James and Genevieve Alexander; sister, Carol Lamotte; brother-in-law, Henry LaMotte; and sister-in-law, Jolene Alexander.
