Bonnie Jean Greenfield, 89, of Kamrar, died on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. The visitation will be at Community Church of Kamrar on Tuesday, January 31, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, at Community Church of Kamrar. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.
Bonnie Jean Irving, daughter of Charles and Freda (Berogan) Irving was born on May 12, 1933. She graduated from Blairsburg high school in 1951 and graduated from Iowa State Teachers College. She taught at Blairsburg elementary school. On June 4, 1955, Bonnie was united in marriage to Roy Greenfield. Roy and Bonnie farmed in the Kamrar area and after raising her children Bonnie worked at A&M Market in Ellsworth.
Bonnie was a loving and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her five children: Randy (Sally) Greenfield of Kamrar, Rhonda (Mark) Fiscus of Ames, Lisa (Tim) Robson, of Portland, Oregon, James (Phyllis) Greenfield, of Williams, and Troy (Tammy) Greenfield of Webster City; 15 grandchildren: Daniel, Ben and David Greenfield, Kristen Kinkhorst, Matthew Fiscus, Megan Davenport, Will and Emily Robson, Brian, Trent and Molly Greenfield, Carrie Stahl, Carl Moen, Katie and Kyle Greenfield; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters, a brother and a sister-in-law: Ruth Jansen of Fairchild, Wisconsin, Peggy Mark of Amboy, Minnesota, Dorothy Wilcox of Packwood, and Ray (Barb) Irving of Blairsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
