WEBSTER CITY — Lucille Witzke, 71, of Webster City died Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Southfield Wellness Community. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Webster City. A private family burial was held at Newell Cemetery in Newell, Iowa. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.

Lucille Marie Witzke, daughter of Eldon and Leona (Langenwalter) Witzke, was born October 4, 1949 in Storm Lake, Iowa. She graduated from Newell High School in 1967. Lucille worked in housekeeping for Hamilton Hospital and Van Diest Medical Center for 38 years.

She is survived by her brothers, Eugene (Marlene) Witzke of Webster City, Merlyn (Naoma) Witzke of New York and many extended family and friends.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed baking, especially cakes for her nieces and nephew. Lucille was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and took many trips to Nashville.
