Renee Muessigmann, 45, formerly of Stanhope
Renee Kay Muessigmann, daughter of Richard Muessigmann and Rose Jones Muessigmann, was born March 12, 1972 at Mary Greely Medical Center in Ames, Iowa. Renee died at her home in San Diego, California on August 4, 2017 at the age of 45 years.
Renee grew up in Stanhope and attended school at South Hamilton in Jewell. She later went on to finish her schooling and she received her GED. Renee went to work for Southfield Nursing Home in Webster City, Iowa. She later worked for Tasler, Inc. in Webster City, Custom Meats in Webster City, and the Webster City Products in Webster City.
Renee loved to spend time with her dog and cat. She had a love for history and loved watching documentaries and history shows on t.v. She also loved to work with clay making beautiful pottery and figurines. Renee moved to Blythe, California for a year before moving to San Diego, California where she lived for 11 years.
Renee was preceded in death by her father, and her grandparents. She is survived by her mother Rose Muessigmann of Stanhope, Iowa; her sister Rhonda Sue Muessigmann of Stanhope, Iowa; Aunts; Uncles; Cousins; other relatives; and friends.
Service of Remembrance will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Stanhope, Iowa. Wednesday September 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Lawn Hill Cemetery Stanhope, Iowa.
