Hamilton Co. Cattlemen dinner set for March 9

The Hamilton County Cattlemen Association will be hosting the 2026 Annual Banquet on March 9 at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in the show arena. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. for the social, 6 p.m. for dinner, with an auction to follow. The cost is $30 per person. The fairgrounds are located at 1800 Bluff St. in Webster City. Century and Heritage Farm Recognition will be part of Iowa’s America250 Celebrations

DES MOINES — As Iowa celebrates the country’s 250th birthday, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig is inviting eligible Iowa farm owners to apply for Century or Heritage Farm recognition as part of the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship’s (IDALS) Century and Heritage Farm Program. Pheasants Forever annual banquet is March 30

The annual banquet for the Hamilton County Pheasants Forever will be held on March 30. This will be at the Briggs Woods Conference Center, located at 2501 Briggs Woods Trail. Funds from the banquet and other fundraising is used to purchase land for conservation. Most of this property is then given to the Hamilton County Conservation office to make it public land.
