On July 29, Judy Mulford, Webster City, was trying to park in the Grid Iron Grill parking lot when her vehicle struck a 2005 Chevrolet TBZ which was properly parked. Mulford's vehicle sustained an estimated $500 in minor damage. The Chevrolet sustained an estimated $700 in minor damage.Bobby J. On July 25, a 2004 Mazda MZ3 was being driven by an unknown occupant behind Jeffrey E. Crane, Webster City, west bound on Second Street. Crane slowed down to turn left onto Funk Street. The front of the Mazda collided with the rear of Crane's vehicle. Crane pulled over at a nearby convenience store and the Mazda left the scene at a high rate of speed. The Mazda had significant damage. The vehicle was located abandoned in an alley behind 745 Division St. and 744 First St. The vehicle was parked on private property and towed by the property owner. A GMC Sierra K2500 was legally parked in a parking spot facing south bound at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds on July 22. Thomas C. Knutson, Webster City, attempted to back south bound out of his spot. Knutson backed out too close to the GMC and hit it as a result. There were no injuries. A two-vehicle accident occurred on July 17. Taylor E. Hanus, Webster City, was turning east bound in the K-Mart parking lot. Tasha J. Durnell, Webster City, attempted to back out of her parking spot in the parking lot. Durnell did not see Hanus and hit Hanus' vehicle as a result. There were no injuries. A two vehicle accident occurred on July 8. Amanda K. Chadek, Webster City, was traveling west bound in the 600 block of Second Street. A 2007 Chrysler Aspen was legally parked in front of Leon's Pizza. Chadek was attempting to park at Leon's Pizza. A vehicle attempted to back out of a parking space in front of Leon's Pizza. Chadek swerved to avoid hitting the vehicle and hit the Chrysler. There were no injuries.
