A two vehicle accident occurred on June 28. Reece D. Taylor, Webster City, was traveling southbound on Superior Street. Patricia G. Juon, Stanhope, was traveling westbound on Bank Street. Witnesses reportedly stated Taylor ran a red light at the intersection of Superior Street and Bank Street when the front bumper of Juon's vehicle collided into the right side of Taylor's vehicle. After coming to a stop at the stop sign, Flett entered the intersection without seeing Mason R. Lee, Webster City, coming from the south. Flett struck Lee's vehicle just behind the driver's door. On June 14, the Webster City Police Department was dispatched to Kum & Go on Superior Street for an accident in the parking lot. Upon arrival, Officer Delaney spoke with the driver of a 1999 Ford F350 who reportedly stated she had parked her vehicle and gone inside the store. When she came back out she noticed the truck she had parked in front of backed into her truck. There was damage done to the passenger side rear door. Walter D. Proctor, Webster City, was backing from the fuel pump. Both vehicles collided in the parking lot. Proctor reportedly stated that another vehicle blocked his forward movement which required him to back up from the pump. Neither driver noticed the other before the accident.
