Breaking ground

The new Career Ag Academy at the Hamiton County Fairgrounds is becoming a reality

About 75 people gathered at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds Tuesday afternoon for the groundbreaking ceremony to launch the long-anticipated Career Ag Academy. After remarks by several school, government and project officials closely connected to the project, a dozen people picked up shovels to break ground for a new facility that will, in the words of Gene Gourley, board president of the Academy, “provide students with hands-on experiences, and re-imagine agricultural education.”

Starting at $3.46/week.
