Volunteer Linda Bowers and Gift Shop Manager Debbie Jaycox display some of the nuts, chocolate and snack mix items that will be on sale at The Gift Shop at VDMC on Ladies Night Out Thursday.

The Gift Shop at Van Diest Medical Center is gearing up for Ladies Night Out on Thursday, October 10.

The shop will be selling VDMC Auxiliary Nuts, formerly known as the TTT Nut Sale. Auxiliary members have spent the past few days packaging more than 1,700 pounds of nuts, chocolates and snack mix varieties. Shoppers will be able to choose from cashews, pistachios, milk chocolate pecans, double-dipped milk chocolate peanuts, milk chocolate amaretto pecans or yogurt almonds, as well as a sweet harvest mix, Cajun kicker mix, energy mix or deluxe snack mix.

Debbie Jaycox, gift shop manager, said the nuts will be available in the Gift Shop throughout the upcoming holiday season while supplies last.

Shoppers are also invited to browse gift items, home decor, jewelry, seasonal items and other merchandise during Ladies Night Out.

The Gift Shop, located just inside the west entrance of Van Diest Medical Center, 2350 Hospital Drive, Webster City, will be open Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
