Webster City Community Theatre cuts the ribbon on recent upgrades to its Performing Arts Center
Webster City Community Theatre President Anne Blankenship cuts the ceremonial ribbon that acknowledges the recent upgrades the local theatre company has made to its Performing Arts Center, 1001 Willson Avenue, Webster City.
The event, Friday, also signaled the opening of the group’s current production of “Steel Magnolias.” That show continues this week with performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The recent exterior renovations to the Performing Arts Center include enhanced accessibility with newly-poured ADA accessible concrete sidewalks, new awnings, landscaping, and new signage.
“Steel Magnolias” is dedicated to the late Susan Andrew, who was part of the 1989 cast. Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the box office. Go to webstercitycommunitytheatre.org.
