Even though Election Day 2024 is still more than a year and a half away, Presidential candidate Eric Jon Boerner is making the rounds.

On Wednesday evening, Boerner met with eight constituents for a Presidential Meet and Greet at the Hy-Vee Dining Area, 823 Second St. in Webster City.

It was a town hall meeting format, where Boerner (R-Washington) provided information about himself, spoke on his platforms

Boerner is an Air Force veteran and spent more than three decades working wihtin the U.S. Government. The agencies that Boerner had worked for are the Department of Defense, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Department of Commerce.

Boerner’s notable achievements include developing what would become search engines and interactive maps on the internet.

The Hamilton County Republicans sponsored the event.
