Rotary Club to host annual turkey dinner

Drive-through event planned for Oct. 10

The Webster CIty Rotary Club will once again host the annual turkey dinner on Oct. 10 at the Briggs Woods Conference Center.

Serving will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Once again this year, out of an abundance of caution for the pandemic, the event will be a drive-through meal. Diners will drive up to the canopied entrance of the conference center and Rotarians will bring the meals out to the vehicles. Inside, Rotary members and conference center staff will dish up the meals inside.

The menu includes turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, a roll and dessert.

All tickets will be sold in advance, according to Rotary organizers. Tickets are available for $15 from all noon Rotary Club and Rotary After Hours members. There will be no ticket sales the day of the dinner.

Proceeds from the dinner will be donated to a number of community causes, including the local Meals on Wheels program.
