The second annual St. Francis of Assisi Pet Blessing will be held on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9:30 a.m. at the Hamilton County Events Center and Show Arena with Trinity Lutheran Church The Rev. Gina Sterk officiating.

All animals big and small are welcome to receive the blessing, but for the safety of others, they should be on a leash, harness, halter or in a carrier.

If it is not possible to bring in a pet or if a pet has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, owners are encouraged to bring in a photo, toy, collar or stuffed animal that can be blessed.

Social distancing will be observed and masks are preferred.
