HCSRA to hold annual supper

The Hamilton County Speedway Racing Association will host its 19th anniversary chili supper on Saturday, Feb. 22. at the Ed Prince Building on the Hamilton County Fairgrounds.

“Hot Laps” begin at 5 p.m., with the chili supper to begin at 6 p.m. Admission is $5 which includes the chili supper.

The evening will also feature raffles, door prizes and auctions, including a live auction of racing collectibles.

The voting for the 2020 Hall of Fame will also take place. A list of people who have received the most votes in prior years will be given out with the ballots to 2020 members. Members will vote for four inductees for the 2020 from the names on the list. Members will also nominate people for next year’s candidates for the 2021 Hall of Fame. Active drivers are not eligible until they have retired from driving for five years.

Admission is free for any race that provides a current new t-shirt for future quilts.

Funds raised by the HCSRA will be used to continue membership and for improvements at the Hamilton County Speedway.
