The public is encouraged to attend the upcoming Heart of Iowa Regional Housing Trust Fund, Board of Directors public meeting Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the city hall in Webster City, 400 Second St.

Community leaders from Hamilton and Webster counties have identified affordable housing issues within the region and have come together to form the Heart of Iowa Regional Housing Trust Fund. Funding opportunities through the fund will help address the growing need for assistance for low and moderate income families in the region.

The meeting will give an overview of the Trust, answer questions for the public, and review and approve application requirements for funding approval through the Iowa Finance Authority.
