One youth referred to JCS for mischief
Spray-painted images found in several locations
One juvenile has been referred to the Juvenile Court System as the result of an investigation by the Webster City Police Department into some incidents of graffiti throughout the community.
According to police, several locations were sprayed with “GBR” and other images. The investigation revealed that “GBR” refers to a group of juveniles who call themselves Ghetto Bike Riders.
The juvenile was referred for the act of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, a Serious Misdemeanor.
“These senseless acts create a substantial cost for those who have to repair and replace the things spray painted. The police department and the community will not tolerate it,” said Chief Shiloh Mork.
Mork said additional referrals are possible.
