Two reported missing, information sought

Webster City Police are seeking information about the whereabouts of two missing people, Sue Hollingshead and Norman Ford.

According to officials, the two cases are separate and unrelated and both parties appear to have left the area on their own accord. Webster City police also said they don’t believe foul play is involved.

Hollingshead, age 59, was reported missing on April 9. Hollingshead is originally from the Webster City area, but has been residing in Illinois. She was last physically seen on Tuesday, April 4 in Webster City. According to the reports, friends and family members have received letters from Hollingshead postmarked April 6. It is believed she planned this disappearance, according to a press release from the WCPD.

Ford, age 55, was reported missing on April 4. According to the police officials, Ford left his home around 12:30 a.m., stating he was going to the ATM. The family hasn’t seen or heard from him since. Ford was last seen wearing a black windbreaker jacket and jeans. Officials said they have no leads about Ford’s possible destination.
