Webster City American Legion Post 191 individuals receive certificates

Five Webster City American Legion Post 191 members received certificates for long standing membership at Tuesday night’s meeting. Two members were present to receive the honor.

“This certificate of continuous membership issued in grateful appreciation for faithful and dedicated allegiance to the ideals of the American Legion, be it known Dean Block, a longtime and dedicated member of the American Legion Post 191, Department of Iowa, has been certified to have been a member in good standing continuously for 70 years…,” said American Legion Post 191 Commander Dale Caquelin.

Gus Dermand was also present at Tuesday night’s meeting to receive a certificate for 70 years of continuous membership in the Webster City American Legion Post 191.

State Legion Commander Ken Rochholz was a guest at the Legion meeting. Rochholz presented a short program and took questions from local Legionnaires
