A new face at the Chamber

A new hire at the Webster City Chamber of Commerce is excited to reach out to the community.

Leah Mulholland started working for the Chamber in mid-October. The Hamilton County native grew up on a farm in Duncombe and went to school in Webster City. She went to college at Buena Vista University and graduated magna cum laude.

While she moved away from Hamilton County for eight years, she welcomes the return.

“It’s nice to come back here where I have family and friends around,” Mulholland said.

Her job as an Administrative Assistant requires many different tasks. She meets people around town, helps hang up posters to promote local events and much more.

“Just getting to know people in town. I haven’t been to a lot of businesses since I’ve been back in town and they’ve changed some since I’ve been gone and it’s interesting to see them,” Mulholland said.

She also brings years of accounting experience to her job, which she said will help get the books sorted at the Chamber. When not doing that, Mulholland said she hopes to meet many new faces in the community.

“If anyone around town needs help or information on setting up a new business, I’m here to help and hope to meet new people,” Mulholland said.
