Allison Coon and Eric Odegaarde, both of Des Moines, have announced their engagement and plans for an April wedding.

Parents of the couple are Gene and Andrea Coon of Des Moines, Mary Coon of Norwalk, Jean McDowell of Webster City and the late Alan Odegaarde.

An April 17 wedding in Norwalk is planned.

The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of West Florida and she is employed with the 5th Judicial District of Iowa in Des Moines. Her fiance is a graduate of Iowa State University and is employed by Wells Fargo in Des Moines.
