The Webster City Airport Commission meets tonight at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held at the City Hall in Webster City, located at 400 Second St. This will be the first in-person meeting since September 2025. The agenda will include the monthly reports on fuel, hangars and engineer. They will also address the farm lease and the 2026-2027 budget.
Hamilton County supervisors will meet today at 9 a.m. at the courthouse located at 2300 Superior St. in Webster City. A report will be given about the Hamilton County Hometown Pride. In addition, the lease at 1900 Superior St. will be discussed, in addition to the detour and side road agreements, approval of plans and specification for two bridge replacements in Lyon township, and a public hearing on the 2026 muilti-jurisdictional Hazard mitigation plan.
The 24th Annual Chili Supper will be held this weekend for the Hamilton County Speedway Association on Saturday. This event will include hot laps at 5 p.m., the supper at 6 p.m. and auction at 7 p.m. The $10 admission includes the supper, voting rights and a $5 raffle ticket. Kids 12 and under eat free. This is a BYOB event, and the auction will be of sports racing memorabilia. Funds raised during this event will be used to continue this membership, and help with improvements at the Hamilton County Speedway.

Tickets for the WCCT production of “12 Angry Jurors” are on sale now. Tickets are $15 at the door or $15 plus tax and fees if purchased online through the webstercitycommunitytheatre.org website. Patrons can also reserve tickets by calling the box office at 515-832-4456. The box office opens one hour before the showtime. The Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7 p.m., the Sunday performance is at 2 p.m.
