Iowa Scenic Views by Foot with Tyler Sullivan Saturday, March 21 at 11 a.m. the library will participants for a morning of adventure with Tyler Sullivan. When you think of Iowa, what are things that come to mind? Did you know that Iowa has 99 counties, and 101 courthouses? Tyler Sullivan has been to 97 out of the 99 counties, and has been to 1,300 cities across the state. Blairsburg Opera House Jam session is Friday night

The Blairsburg Opera House Jam session will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday. This free event will be held at the Opera House, located on Second Street in downtown Blairsburg. Musicians, dancers and listeners are invited to attend and participate in this monthly event.

Hamilton County Board of Health meets today

The Hamilton County Board of Health will meet today at its offices at 1610 Collins St., in Suite 1. The meeting begins at 5:15 p.m. and will be held in the conference room. On the agenda are the administrators report and reports on home health, financial and environmental services. There will also be discussion on the organizational charge, signatory authority, foot clinic, Medicaid site review, the HFA 2025 site report and the budget.

Coffee and Create open at 9:30 today

Legacy Learning-Boone River Valley is open for Coffee and Create from 9:30 a.m. to noon today until Friday. Each week, from Tuesday through Friday, the doors are open for crafters and artisans who love to chat, drink coffee and create unique projects. The Van Diest Medical Center trustees will meet at 6 p.m. today. The Van Diest Medical Center board meetings are held in the Clinic board room located at 2350 Hospital Drive in Webster City. On the agenda under new business, they will be setting a date for the public hearing for the fiscal year 2027 tax asking, in addition to discussing the 2027-2029 strategic plan.
