Hamilton County Conservation will be offering a Maple Syrup Making & Fundraiser Breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. on March 14 at the Briggs Woods Golf Course. The cost is $15 per person, but registration is required. This is a pancake fundraiser breakfast. View maple tree tapping and syrup cooking. Funds raised are to purchase new snowshoes & storage. Register online and payment is due on the day of the event.

The Fort Dodge Choral Society spring concert will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Decker Auditorium at 1 Triton Circle in Fort Dodge. This concert will take a journey through the music of our history to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence. The Jive for Five brass quintet and string ensemble will join with the singers for this concert. The Williams Library is offering a safety class led by Sara Zorn for families who do not need certification. This will be a free CPR training class held at the library.
