Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Jr.” will come to life on the Webster City Community Theatre stage this weekend. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. today and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The 20th annual Car Show will be held from noon to 3 p.m. in Kamrar. This free event will have free door prizes and 31 awards presented. The Illinois Central Depot Museum located in the Wilson Brewer Park will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday this week. Located at 220 Ohio St., the museum contains artifacts from local collections and historical items specific to Webster City and Hamilton County.
The Webster City Women’s Club invites you to the Jane Young House, 629 Elm St, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to view their new clothing exhibit and house. The clothing exhibit highlights fashions from 1947, Happy Birthday America, and a collection of clothing from former and current retail stores in Webster City. Another room is dedicated to the history of the Women’s Club. There is a lot of history and a beautiful house to view. A freewill donation is appreciated and the Jane Young House is handicapped accessible.
BLAIRSBURG —The Blairsburg Opera House Jam session will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday at the opera house. Musicians, dancers and listeners are invited to attend.
