Last weekend for ‘Little Mermaid Jr.’

Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Jr.” will come to life on the Webster City Community Theatre stage this weekend. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. today and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children aged 18 and younger. Tickets may be purchased online at wccommtheatre.ludus.com. 20th annual car show in Kamrar Sunday

The 20th annual Car Show will be held from noon to 3 p.m. in Kamrar. This free event will have free door prizes and 31 awards presented. Sponsored by Karl-Webster City, Philbrook Auto and Trampel Farms, the event starts at noon, with registration from 9 a.m. to noon. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Webster City Gateway Industrial Park ribbon cutting is today

The City of Webster City, Hamilton County Growth Partnership, and the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce invite the community, business leaders, elected officials, and regional partners to attend a ribbon cutting to celebrate this major milestone in Webster City’s economic development efforts. The event will be held today from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Briggs Woods Conference Center, 2501 Briggs Woods Trail, Those planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP in advance.

Depot museum open Friday and Saturday

The Illinois Central Depot Museum located in the Wilson Brewer Park will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday this week. Located at 220 Ohio St., the museum contains artifacts from local collections and historical items specific to Webster City and Hamilton County.

Jane Young House open this Saturday

The Webster City Women’s Club invites you to the Jane Young House, 629 Elm St, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to view their new clothing exhibit and house. The clothing exhibit highlights fashions from 1947, Happy Birthday America, and a collection of clothing from former and current retail stores in Webster City. Another room is dedicated to the history of the Women’s Club. There is a lot of history and a beautiful house to view. A freewill donation is appreciated and the Jane Young House is handicapped accessible.

Blairsburg Jam session Friday

BLAIRSBURG —The Blairsburg Opera House Jam session will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday at the opera house. Musicians, dancers and listeners are invited to attend.
