Travelers’ fund in need of donations

The Webster City Ministerial Association is seeking donations to replenish the travelers fund that is sponsored by the local churches. The fund, which is administered by the Webster City Police Department, is used to assist travelers who have become stranded without adequate funds to continue through our area. Funds are used for gasoline, food or accommodations. Donations can be made by writing a check to the Webster City Ministerial Association, c/o Rev. Last peformances of Disney's 'Little Mermaid, Jr.' are Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Tickets are on sale for Disney's “Little Mermaid Jr.” The last days to watch the Webster City Community Theatre’s production of Disney’s “Little Mermaid Jr., will be this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The production is directed by Lindsay Henderson, assisted by Nichole Ose. Meg Cain serves as music director and Karina Murray is the administrative assistant. Webster City Gateway Industrial Park ribbon cutting is Thursday

The City of Webster City, Hamilton County Growth Partnership, and the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce invite community members, business leaders, elected officials, and regional partners to attend a ribbon cutting celebration recognizing a major milestone in Webster City’s economic development efforts. Ribbon cutting set for Thursday

The community, business leaders, elected officials, and regional partners are invited to attend a ribbon cutting for the Gateway Industrial Park — a major milestone in Webster City’s economic development efforts. The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Briggs Woods Conference Center, 2501 Briggs Woods Trail, Those planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP in advance.

Last weekend for “Little Mermaid Jr.”

Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Jr.” will come to life on the Webster City Community Theatre stage this weekend. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. June 26 and 27, and 2 p.m. June 27 and 28. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children aged 18 and younger. Tickets may be purchased online at wccommtheatre.ludus.com. Stanhope Night in the Park Wednesday

Envision Stanhope is supporting the Wednesday Night in the Park, with Stanhope State University as its sponsor. Music begins at 5 p.m., food is served at 5:30 p.m., all for a freewill donation. Tee-ball and bingo finish the night.
