The Fort Dodge Choral Society will perform its final concert before summer this Sunday. The theme is “Music from the Big Screen.” The concert will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Historic Phillips Auditorium. This is located at 1015 Fifth Ave. N. in Fort Dodge.
The annual awards ceremony for graduating seniors from the Webster City High School will be held at 6:30 p.m. May 13 at the Prem Sahai Auditorium. Scholarships and other awards will be announced at this time. Graduates and their families are invited to attend.
Kendall Young Library will hold a variety of teen events throughout May. Teen Lounge: Patrons in 6-12 grades are invited Tuesdays in May from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Teen Lounge will be held May 12, 19 and 26. As a special event on May 19, current fifth graders are invited to join the teens for an afternoon of Bingo. An open house will be held on May 14 by the Cub Scout Pack 583 and Troop 17. The event, which will showcase what types of things the scouts do, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the West Twin Park, 1100 Superior St. Information on joining any of the scouting organizations will be available.
