Teen events planned at Kendall Young Library
Kendall Young Library will hold a variety of teen events throughout May.
Teen Lounge: Patrons in 6-12 grades are invited Tuesdays in May from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Teen Lounge will be held May 12, 19 and 26. As a special event on May 19, current fifth graders are invited to join the teens for an afternoon of Bingo. There are weekly activities such as video games, snacks, crafts, board games, and more.The time and place is perfect to hang out with friends and is a come-and-go style event.
Homeschool TECH BUILD: Students will have time to pick your project. From 1 to 3 p.m. on May 21, patrons will have the opportunity to build a project they may have missed throughout the year. A variety of kits will be available to build and create. This is designed for homeschooled youths in second through 12th grades and will be held each month in the teen area. Parent participation is encouraged.
Every day the Teen area offers a variety of crafts, board games, community Lego build, Chromebooks, video games, books and STEM Cart activities that are always available.
