Local museums are open for the summer season

The Wilson Brewer Park Depot museum has begun its summer season, with the Depot open each Friday and Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. The depot, which is in the midst of exterior repairs and renovations, is known for the historic collections collected by many families of Webster City, in addition to the Frank Bonebright collections. The museum is located at 220 Ohio Street in Webster City. Wilson Brewer Park Foundation Board meeting is May 21

The Wilson Brewer Park and Depot Foundation board meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 21, at 6 p.m., in the basement of the Depot at 220 Ohio Street, Webster City. Items on the agenda include setting a date for volunteer training, updates on the building repairs and a change to the collections policy.

Lehigh Methodist Church will host its Annual Spring Supper

LEHIGH — The Annual Spring Supper and Bake Sale at the Lehigh Methodist Church will be held on Saturday, May 3, in the church basement. The event is from 5 to 7 p.m. On the menu are Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn or beans, salad, fresh-baked dinner rolls, pie and a drink. The cost is $13. Tickets for children under 10 are $7. Kids under 5 eat free. Carryouts are available by calling 515-359-2329. There will also be a Bake Sale at the same time.
