Iowa Central Community College’s Center for Performing Arts announces that tickets for the stage musical “The Prince of Egypt” are on sale now. The musical will be performed at Decker Auditorium located at 1 Triton Circle in Fort Dodge. Performances are Feb. 25 through March 1. The Webster City Parks and Recreation meeting will be held at Fuller Hall on Thursday starting at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Samson Room at Fuller Hall, which is located at 625 Bank St. On the agenda are reports from Fuller Hall and their budget, park projects update, the East Twin Parks concrete and plumbing bid specs and the Fuller Hall recreation programs. The public is invited to attend and may address the commission for five minutes at the opening of the meeting.
The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce will host a kick-off breakfast for retailers next Tuesday. Volunteers who are willing to assist other taxpayers with their annual income taxes can be trained this Saturday at the Hamilton County Extension office. The Extension office is located at 311 Bank St. in Webster City. This training prepares individuals with the skills needed to serve as a volunteer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Barb Wollan will lead the training.
