The Webster City Community Blood Drive is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Van Diest Medical Center Clinic Board room, located at 2350 Hospital Drive. Kendall Young Library in conjunction with the Webster City Police Department will be hosting a Women’s Self-Defense Workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. This event is open to ages 13 and up. This event is free; no registration is required.
LEHIGH — The Lehigh United Methodist Church will hold its Second Sunday Supper from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the church. This month, the church will again serve a hot turkey sandwich with potatoes and gravy, dessert and a drink. The cost is a freewill donation. Carryouts are available.
American Legion meets next week. The Auxiliary meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. All members and guests are welcome.

A Horticulture Judging Workshop is being offered from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. April 15 at the Northern Research Farm, 310 S. Main St., in Kanawha. Individuals seeking experience judging horticulture entries, such as vegetables, cut flowers, and house plants, are invited to attend. The workshop is designed to provide comprehensive training in evaluating horticulture exhibits at county and state fairs.
