Lehigh Methodist Church annual spring supper and bake sale to be Saturday

The Lehigh Methodist Church’s annual Spring Supper and Bake Sale will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church, 386 Spencer Hill St. in Lehigh. The meal served will be Swiss steak, with mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, salads, fresh baked rolls, pie and a drink. The cost is $15 for adults, $8 for ages 10 and under, and free for children ages 5 and under. Many baked goods will be available for purchase also during the event. Carryouts are also available.

Library, Community and Family Services pair up on drug emergencies

A training session on opioid overdoses and naloxone will be held at the Kendall Young Library on Tuesday. Community and Family Resources is co-hosting this program starting at noon in the downstairs meeting room. The library is located at 1201 Willson Ave. in Webster City.

JOB FAIR BY IOWA WORKS — This will be held Thursday, May 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. Iowa Works will be hosting the job fair at Kendall Young Library. Multiple employers will be present to help you explore the jobs and careers they have available. This event is open to anyone and will be held in the KYL Meeting. FIRST AID AND CPR TRAINING — Heather Rice will be offering First Aid and CPR Training at Kendall Young Library on Tuesday, May 19th. Kendall Young Library hosts job fair in May

Iowa Works will be conducting a job fair at the Kendall Young Library on May 14. This will run from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The fair will be held in the meeting room in the lower level of the Kendall Young Library, 1201 Willson Ave. Multiple employers will be present to help explore the jobs and careers that are available. This event is open to anyone who is looking for a job, or looking for a different career track. For more information, contact the library at 515-832-9100.

KYL will hold program on drug emergencies next week

The Kendall Young Library will be hosting a training session on opioid overdoses and naloxone on May 5. The training is being held in conjunction with Community and Family Resources starting at noon in the downstairs meeting room. The library is located at 1201 Willson Ave. in Webster City. This training will help participants to recognize and respond to opioid emergencies with lifesaving tools. Narcan will be available to attendees at the end of the event. This event is free and does not require registration.
