The regular meeting of the Hamilton County supervisors will be held at 9 a.m. at the Hamilton County courthouse. The meeting will be held in the basement meeting room located at 2300 Superior St. On the agenda is the public hearing for the fiscal year 2026 budget amendment, and resolutions approving them.
The Hamilton County Law Enforcement officers are sponsoring a Cops and Bobbers fishing event from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. This will be held at the small beach shelter at Briggs Woods Park, located at 2490 Briggs Woods Trail. The event is free and residents do not need a fishing license, since it is being held during the Iowa DNR free fishing weekend. The program is designed for kids ages 3-14 years of age, but adults can fish with their kids. Prizes will be given only to kids between those ages. The Depot museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. today and Saturday. The Depot is located within the Wilson Brewer Park, at 220 Ohio St. Historic collections about Webster City are on display throughout the building.
