Girl Scout Troops 10153 and 593 combined efforts for an Earth Day litter pick-up at Twin Parks. Special thank you to The Trash Man for providing trash bags. The Girl Scouts and accompanying community members picked up a variety of small trash items out of the park in preparation for Spring weather. A litter pick-up scavenger hunt made the experience fun and engaging. After cleaning up the park the troops worked on an Outdoor Art badge for the Girl Scout Virtual Art Show with the theme, \“Make the World a Better Place.\” Daisies drew pictures of picking up litter in the park and building a new playground, just as the community is currently doing at the Twin Parks.
