American Legion Flag Day disposal service this Friday
In observance of Flag Day, the American Legion Post 191 will conduct a ceremonial retirement of unserviceable U.S. flags at 4 p.m. on Friday. This dignified event will take place in the north alley of the 700 block of Second Street, adjacent to Pagel Glass. Community members are encouraged to deliver any flags they wish to include in the ceremony to the American Legion at 726 Second St., Webster City, prior to Thursday.
The Legion is open Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Alternatively, flags may be brought directly to the ceremony site at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
