Barbara Carpenter, Webster City, will celebrate her 75th birthday with an open house on Sunday, May 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Webster City.

Her family includes her husband of 58 years, Marvin; children Vicki Ryan of Fort Dodge; Ricky Carpenter, deceased in infancy; David and Trisha Carpenter, Rob and Diana Carpenter and Steve “Pete”?Carpenter, all of Webster City. She also has nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was born May 10, 1941 and still works part-time at Southfield Wellness Community.
